Man, 18, stabbed in alley behind Fort Collins lounge

An 18-year-old male was stabbed in the alley behind Suite 152 in Old Town early Sunday morning, according to police.

Details are sketchy, but Fort Collins police officer Jackie Pearson said police responded at about 1:30 a.m. and found Joel Ramirez in the alley. His hometown was not listed.

Ramirez was transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. At midday, he was in serious condition.

According to witnesses, Ramirez appeared to have been stabbed in the neck.

Mitch Hahn said he and some friends watched as Ramirez was tended to by others until police and ambulance crews arrived.
