Boulder native Scott Kimball entered a plea of guilty Thursday afternoon in Boulder District Court to two counts of second-degree murder in the deaths of four people, all of whom went missing for years. (Daily Camera)

He was sentenced to 70 years in prison, putting closure on a case that began with Kimball’s release from prison seven years ago to act as an FBI informant in a drug case.

Prosecutors believe Kimball, 43, killed his victims in 2003 and 2004.
