John Callahan, 1951-2010
One of my favorite cartoonists has died. John Callahan, possibly the most originally irreverent man ever to put twisted pen to paper, passed away on Saturday from complications of quadraplegia and respiratory problems. To say that nothing was off limits to Callahan was to shortchange his originality. Callahan sought out subjects that anyone else would find too hot to touch.
