INDenverTimes adds 39 comic strips

In addition to award-winning local cartoonists Ed Stein and Drew Litton and in response to overwhelming reader requests, INDenverTimes has added 39 comic strips ranging from The Wizard of Id to longtime favorites such as Archie, B.C., Heathcliff.

Thanks for the comic strips. That, along with pictures and more state and local government coverage will be a big step for your efforts.
Now can we start a “Top 10″ comic strip vote? Off hand, a few of my picks would be “The Dilbert Zone”, “Get Fuzzy”, “Peanuts” and “Sherman’s Lagoon” I’ll bring in a few more if you get a contest going.

Hmm. I don’t recognize most of the ones you have here except for Archie (which I didn’t know was still around) and BC, Heathcliff and Speed Bump which I like.
any response to putting up the higher quality strips?
Unfortunately the higher quality strips require a fairly hefty syndication fee, which wouldn’t be justified at this early stage. We will continue to research some of the suggested strips to determine if they can be added at a reasonable price.
The idea of a Top “10″ comic strip vote is a good one. We’ll work on that.
