Flu closes Cesar Chavez Academy in Pueblo

Cesar Chavez Academy, working with the Pueblo City-County Health Department, decided to close its Pueblo school after nearly 30 percent of its students reported flu symptoms. (Pueblo Chieftain)

The school was closed Thursday and will re-open Tuesday. Health Department officials said that Dolores Huerta Preparatory High will remain in session but the department will continue closely monitoring the number of students out for influenza-like illness.
