The owner of Ganja Gourmet located at 1810 South Broadway Avenue said the restaurant will “aim to help distribute medicinal marijuana to those licensed to have it and provide an atmosphere where patients can visit with one another in a safe environment.”

Let me get this straight. If some doper wanders in and orders food, 1) they have to verify he has a medical condition permitting use of the dope, then 2) they call a food preparer and order a pizza with dope, then 3) when it is delivered, they (owners in the Jerry Garcia tee-shirts) serve it to the doper (customer).

Sounds real worthy of a news report.

And, what is the gourmet aspect?
Can I get Kobe beef on a pizza?
Will Twerp be able to eat there?

A friend of mine had told me of this report last night and so I thought it would be worth a look. Really more then anything else I was extremely interested to read any and all the comment on the matter. I feel like Gene’s comments reflect what most older Americans feel. I personally feel like this is a creative idea. He is working within the law, and presenting an innovative idea. The fact off the matter is that the money that the government could make off the taxation of legalized marijuana could substantially help the economy.

If they fail to serve me dope on a pizza,
can I sue them for discrimination?
What if the ACLU backs me?
    How’s that fore a creative
    idea, young John?
    Worth a look?

    PS
Let’s get a reading from Gov. Ritter on this subject. Just to see the politics.
