FBI suspects truck drivers in 500 serial killings
The FBI believes that serial killers working as long-haul truck drivers may be responsible for the deaths of more than 500 people over the last 30 years, the Los Angeles Times reports.
An FBI database shows that the bodies of hundreds of female victims, including prostitutes, hitchhikers and stranded motorists, have been found along trucking routes throughout the U.S., including Interstate 25 in Colorado. Most were discovered at truck stops, motels and other locations near highways.
