Ed Stein: Job Creation

Stei091015

The last cartoon I drew was in response the the dreadful employment numbers, but today I had another thought. So long as the Democrats press forward with their broad agenda–health care reform, financial sector regulation, energy and climate policy–the economy will take care of itself. So many new jobs will be created on K Street to oppose the new initiatives, full employment is sure to follow. In fact, we should merge all the bills in Congress under one new title: the Lobbyist Recovery Act of 2009. I wonder how many of the folks currently raking it in for opposing anything Obama tries to do realize that their jobs depend on Obama and the Democrats staying in office.

    This is like groundhog day.
Over / over again. . HE HAS
    DONE NOTHING TO CREATE
ANY JOBS. All the money spent
on political payoffs. He has done
nothing to create a single new job.

Hate to beat a dead groundhog here,
but. I have said this before and Ed Stein
    keeps writing these b–sucking comments
    to support this pitiful administration. Again Ed;

This administration has things going right where
they want. In the dumper. Obama wants to tear this
    country apart so he can rebuild it into the s o c i a l i s t
empire he wants. Everyone beholding to the government.
Beholding to The Democrats. Beholding even more than after
FDR. He wants to control banking, manufacturing, housing, etc, etc.

    From Comstock reports

““The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) recently announced that they will be making downward benchmark revisions to past monthly nonfarm employment data that casts doubt on the validity of the recent figures as well. As we will explain, it is highly likely that substantially more jobs are now being lost than is currently reported.””

It seems like all those jobs are not that.
