Drew Litton: March Madness Shockers

Well, there goes the brackets. It only takes a day to to unleash the wrecking ball on office pools throughout the country. It’s one of the reasons that the tourney is so terrific. You just never know what you’re going to get.
For me, it was tough watching UTEP get blown out. I grew up down the street from Don Haskins who coached UTEP to multiple NCAA tournament wins. One very historic one in fact. In 1966 TWC (the school changed its name in ‘67) beat Kentucky to win the National Championship. They even made a movie out of it called Glory Road. So I’m ready for football season.
And I’ll gladly embrace the start of baseball. Especially with the blizzard out the window.
