Drew Litton: Broncos Season Ahead
Decisions, Decisions
This cartoon hits pretty close to home for me about now. Except I haven’t upgraded to the PS3 to play the newest version of Madden. And I really wished I would have held on to that DirecTV NFL package. At least I could entertain myself with a few Saints and Steelers games. Based on the first 3 preseason games…it’s going to be a long season. Do you feel the same way? Let me know.

Buck up Drew. Think I heard Dave Logan correctly yesterday, he was talking about 40 new players and a essentially new team starting from scratch. Could be some exciting possibilities. I do agree – new coach, loose the sweatshirt. Every time I see it I think of New England.
I agree. How about a nice polo shirt. McD looks like he just finished working out on the sidelines. How about a ‘little’ class?
I know how you feel but I don’t know if the new Madden is worth it. I own it and if it’s strictly gameplay you want, then it is amazing! But, if you’re a franchise guy (like me), then it still needs to some fixes.
Two things that bug me: I still don’t get the whole “potential” grade thing. You can’t see who has potential when you are looking at free agents or making trades. Also, you can’t see a breakdown of positions you need. Ever! I’m typically guessing how many players of each position I have.
I am SO sick of the nay saying in Denver. i live in SD and the Denver press is FAR worse than San Diego’s as far as being pessimistic about our team.
Now they have Pat Bowlen gone crazy because he is 65 years old. Last night on Denver tv channel 31, Ron Zapollo, who looks older than Bowlen had a whole segment on Bowlen forgetting everything. Forgot he talked to Cutler. yada yada yada. It was as if Bowlen had no secretary who could take a phone call, or a staff that could do anything. Just Bowlen going nuts.
Drew I am very optimistic about 2009.
Lose Madden at game time, trust me it will be worth it.
I have cause for optimism also. Last game, coach got rid of the sweatshirt ! ! Suddenly I no longer thought of New England every time I saw him. Plus, we won !
