Conde Nast names Broadmoor No. 4 among top U.S. resorts
The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs ranks fourth among mainland large U.S. resorts in the latest Conde Nast Readers Choice awards. No Colorado resorts made the magazine’s Top 100 global list.
Here’s a sample of what reader’s told the magazine about the 700-room hotel, which is perennially ranked at the top of Colorado resorts and among the best in the continental U.S.:
Rooms in yellows contrast with dark wood furniture at this Italian Renaissance resort. “You’re 90 miles from Denver, but it feels like an oasis.” Guests can get pedicures on a terrace or watch black swans glide around the property’s lake. The Golden Bee is a pub with nineteenth-century panels shipped from England.
