$Cha-Ching$: Bowlen’s Broncos 14th most valuable sports team in the world.

Forbes.com has just released its annual listing of “The World’s Most Valuable Teams and Athletes.”

Fortunately for Broncos’ principal owner, Pat Bowlen, his team is reportedly worth $1.08 billion with annual revenues of $240 million.

Forbes also states that the team’s popularity has fallen from fourth to 12th among NFL fans since John Elway retired following 1998 season.

However, with the arrival of Tim Tebow, things might be on their way back up.

Nine other NFL teams are rated as more valuable than the Broncos, including the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Houston Texans. Go figure?
