Broncos grab DE Jarvis Green from Patriots

The Denver Broncos signed New England Patriots free agent Defensive End Jarvis Green on Tuesday.  Green had one of the better statistical years in his career last season, and was a member of two Super Bowl winning Patriots teams.

Green will join former Baltimore Raven’s defensive lineman Justin Bannan, who signed with Denver a few days ago.  Bannan and Green will add a veteran presence to the re-imagined Broncos defensive line. Justin Bannan may team with former San Diego Charger Jamaal Williams to form a stout duo at Nose Tackle in the Broncos’ 3-4 system.

Jarvis Green, a 9-year NFL veteran, joins a growing list of former New England Patriots on the Broncos roster.
