Broncos are 5-0, and laughing at ESPN’s John Clayon
In case you didn’t notice, the Denver Broncos are 5-0. Not 4-1, or 4-0-1, or any other variation of numbers that add up to five. They’re undefeated.
What’s great about the Broncos start, besides the obvious lead in the division and dismantling of the New England Patriots along the way, is that so many “experts” laughed at this team all offseason. They poked fun at Josh McDaniels, giggled about the way the Bears had pillaged the Broncos in the Jay Cutler trade, and absolutely wet their pants over the decision to switch to a 3-4 defensive alignment.
Have a big ladle full of crow, John Clayton. As if looking at you wasn’t enough to discern your obvious lack of knowledge of football, you made it easy by spewing your ignorance all over national television. And you brought Jamie Dukes and Mark Schlereth along with you. Stupidity loves company.
Anyway, as a longtime defender of McDaniels and the Broncos, I am proud to bring you video evidence of the difference between the guys who talk about the game, and the guys who actually play it. So go ahead, and watch Clayton, Schlereth, and Dukes makes asses of themselves with their uncanny predictions on the Broncos season. 5-0 ain’t there yet, but it’s five more than

So is it Clayon or Clayton?
Look, Hunter, my blood is orange, but I sure wasn’t predicting the Broncos would be at 5-0 today. Were you? Gloating is juvenile.
I thought Rod Smith was class. He is probably a homer like I am, but how refreshing to go back and hear Rod Smith.
It is great to see us doing so well. I knew we would be better than the “experts” predicted but 5-0 has been a pleasant suprise. The best part is we are just playing tough football, we are more physical and intense which should help out usual late season swoons!! This is a great team with excellent leasdership from the the top down…Thanks Mr. Bowlen, Josh, Brian Dawkins, etc….. You guys deserve what you earn!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!!
