Thanks for the comments idol watcher and John! I LOVE KELLIE! She was my favorite contestant by far that season but even I had to admit that there were a few weeks where it felt like she sneaked through because of her charming persona. Definitely agree, however, that she has really developed and come into her own as a talented vocal artist in the time since.

I think the slighting reference to Kellie Pickler was just a troll, or else the author has never heard her sing. Right from her first audition for AI it was apparent that her voice was exceptional, and the ensuing years have shown that she can learn and grow from the raw talent that she was. She is now one of the best voices in music and her future seems unlimited. She also may perfect her cheerfully comic persona to become a comedienne of note,

Kellie Pickler is far more talented than all of these people and she should have advanced farther. She’s doing better than half the winners. She’s a top 5 earner of all Idols, top 8 in album sales and working on her 3rd, and she’s going on her 5th major tour. Try Kristy Lee Cook or Haley Scarnato for your example.

Leigh – thanks for the comment! I love Lilly too! She is one of my early favorites (and not just because she’s from Denver). I just recap the performances in the order that they perform and always post a pic for every other contestant. Definitely not meant as a slight to our hometown girl!

Why no photo of Lilly Scott when she’s from Denver and your logo above says “We love Denver?” Strange!
Lilly is unique in looks and singing style. She’s the one to beat!
