A movie weekend with amusement parks and aliens
Two small movies make their way to the Denver scene this weekend. The modest coming-of-age saga Adventureland merits a look. It introduces us to a young man (Jesse Eisenberg) who spends a summer working at an amusement park. Alien Trespass - which sounds like an amusement park ride – is less successful in its attempt to become a wall-to-wall parody of ’50s sci-fi. Critic Bob Denerstein looks at both movies at www.denersteinunleashed.com.
