Really dig the article. Passionate and intense. I am sick of all of the people saying "I told you so." I honestly don't listen to it anymore. The Broncos, in my opinion, do deserve a little bit of criticism for losing to the Redskins, regardless of the injury to Kyle Orton.

But, I still believe that they have what it takes to turn things back around.

I especially liked the following piece of your article: "And Jay Cutler. Bringing up former players and long-lost baggage isn’t the point of this wakeup call, but somehow, through all of the success, there are still fans begging for the return of the worst quarterback in the NFL. It’s simple. Kyle Orton’s care of the football and heady play has made Denver a better team. Cutler’s league-leading 17 interceptions have literally crippled the Bears." Those same people who believe that we would be better off with Cutler are the same people who get their sporting expertise from those aforementioned dipsticks from the MSM. Are they aware that he threw five interceptions this past Thursday and was only able to put up six points against the 49ers?

Anyways, thanks for a great article. I am going to post a link to it on my blog.

[...] INDT – 6-3 is not 3-6! Where’s the love? – Hunter Ansley“Denver isn’t the only divisional leader sporting the deep scar of a shameful loss; it’s just the only one that everyone loves to hate.
A little over the top, but generally spot on.

The trick, really, is you need to ignore most football pundits. And sadly, a whole lot of fans who just don't know much about football. Most of these boneheads are attracted to any reason to criticize the team that sounds good to them: "defenses win championships!" or "everything revolves around the QB position!". Now, these comments may completely contradict each other, but people will still cite them because it reinforces whatever perspective the fan or pundit already has. Little pithy quotes that sound like conventional wisdom have that effect.

The Broncos are competitive, which is way more than any of us expected for this season.

Now let's go kick some Charger butt!
